Linda Quartermaine Artist

Hello and welcome to my website it is so good of you to join me and I hope you like what you see.

I have been painting for many years now and what was initially a Painting for Pleasure Art Course has turned into a life time passion. I have paintings in New Zealand, Australia and the UK. My favourite mediums are Watercolours and Graphite Pencil, although I have worked with Oils and Pastels.

I love the outdoors and there is nowhere better than the Yorkshire Dales.  I have taken to putting on my walking boots and taking my sketch book and Pencils and set out to do some En Plein Air sketching.  I also have a passion for trees, the way they dance in the wind.  I love them through all seasons, the different colours and contrasts, the shadows that they make across the ground.

If you like what you see please let me know by completing my comments page.
